Will Realtors show and sell my home even though I paid a flat rate instead of paying a full 6 percent commission?
Yes. With our company, the Realtor bringing in the buyer is still getting the same commission they would with a full service listing. It is only the listing agent that takes the flat fee. Regardless of who you listed with or what you paid, your listing will look the same as all the other MLS listings.
Do I Have To List for 6 Months?
No. This is just what we offer to eliminate the relisting fee to our clients. Most homes are only on the market a few months. You always retain control of your listing and can extend or shorten the duration when you sign up.
What websites will my listing appear?
Your Home will be featured on Realtor.com Homesdatabase.com, HRMLS.com, Washingtopost.com, Zillow, Yahoo, Google, Trulia and Oodle, Homes.com and many others at no additional cost.
Do I have to pay a commission to an agent?
If a buyer finds you without the help of a Realtor (For Sale By Owner, FSBO), you pay no commission!! If a Realtor brings the buyer to your home and you have opted to go into the MLS, you will pay a 3% commission or whatever commission you agreed to in your MLS Listing forms.
Do I have to pay a 3% Commission?
No but remember most of your competition is. If an agent can show 10 other homes similar to yours and they are paying a 3% commission - they may not find enough incentive to show yours before all the others. Remember, this is how they make a living.

Sometimes a buyer will call your listing agent to see your property. We offer you another way to save some money. If the listing agent calls you to see if you are free to show your property for them - you will only pay a 1% commission at closing instead of 3% to the listing agent, if that buyer decides to purchase your property. The listing agent will still draw up the purchase agreement for you and the buyer.

How do I remove my lockbox?
You have several options: Generally the buyer's agent removes the lockbox for you to return to us. However, many sellers just remove the door knob and bring the lockbox in to us to remove. Please remember, we cannot cancel a listing until lockbox and all signage have been returned and a listing withdrawal form is filled out. Lockbox deposit refunds take up to 6 weeks. If you want us to pick up the lockbox - we need two weeks notice and you forfeit your deposit.
